Queer feminist indie trio Lovers out of Portland make it back to Berlin for a night at the West Germany clubhouse presented by La Moustache and supported by Berlin post-punk act Rat Rat Rats.
Lovers (lyricist Berk, synth-programmer & performance artist Kerby Ferris and sequencer & percussionist Emily Kingan) sound somewhere in the good end of 10,000 Maniacs but with a classic electro-pop twist somewhere in with Psapp. They’ve been super quiet on the topic of there being a new album, the last one was Dark Light back in 2010, but who knows, maybe this gig is the one where we get some new tunes. If you’re good, that is.
